Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, information sent by your browser is processed automatically: IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

This data is required to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure and error-free provision of the website. The data is not combined with other data sources.

Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses apply.

Contact by email or phone

If you send me an email or call me, I process the details you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) in order to respond to your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) at any time. You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
